Placements Activities

• Under the efficient guidance of Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari, managing committee and placement incharge Dr. Deepak Jyoti, (Head Computer Science Department) ,The PG Department of Computer Science and IT organized a Career Counselling Session and Placement Drive in collaboration with Max Life Insurance, Pathankot on October 28, 2024 with the Collaborating Partner: Max Life Insurance, Pathankot. The noteworthy Guests were Mr. Gurwinder Singh (Branch Manager), Mr. Himanshu Saini (Agency Manager) and Ms. Nisha Johar (Training Manager).

• Under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta, PG Department of Computer Science and IT organised a Career Counselling Session and Placement Drive with Mr. Jagjeet Singh Bedi and Mr. Vijay and Ms. Aditi Mahajan on 12th September , 2024 to give hands on trainings under NIIT.

• Placement Cell and Career Counselling Cell organised a Career Counselling Drive and Placement Drive with Mr. Himanshu and Mr. Ajit Singh and Mr. Lovepreet under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta and Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta, Secretary, Managing Committee and the headship of Dr. Deepak Jyoti, Department of Computer Science and IT on 12th and 13th March, 2024.On first day, Mr. Himanshu and Mr. Ajit Singh delivered lectures on training campaign of 30 days where students came to know of software programming, the intricacies and broad outlines of banking sector, finance, varied operations and policies. 
• Department of Computer Science and IT of Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar, under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta and the headship of Dr. Deepak Jyoti organised a *Career Counselling Session* with Ms. Pallavi Nayyar, Project Manager and HR, Rozgar Map, Gurdaspur and Ms. Diksha Sharma, Placement Coordinator, Rozgar Map, Gurdaspur on 26 October, 2023. They conducted a councelling session on Hard Skill and Soft Skill and Employability. They discoursed on Marketing and Technical Skills. They guided students about 5 Steps of Training. They briefed about 6 months training which will benefit students in grabbing major job opportunities under IT Sector. Principal Madam appreciated the efforts of Dr. Deepak Jyoti, Head, Department of Computer Science and IT and her organising team.
  
• Department of Computer Science and IT of Shanti Devi Arya Mahila College, Dinanagar, under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Sushma Gupta organised a Career Counselling Session and interview Session with Mr. Himanshu and Mr. Ajit Singh and Mr. Lovepreet on 19th and 20th October, 2023 to give hands on trainings under NIIT. Mr. Himanshu and Mr. Ajit Singh conducted a councelling session in which the students benefited with intricacies and broad outlines of banking sector, finance, varied operations and policies. The students of M.SCs gave interviews and selected candidates will get appointment letter soon. Principal Madam appreciated the efforts of Dr. Deepak Jyoti, Head, Department of Computer Science and IT and her organising team.
  
• Placement cell organized a Placement Drive for our Alumni students of batches 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar and placement cell coordinator Mrs. Deepak Jyoti. This placement drive was conducted in collaboration with NIIT, Gurgaon. Mr. Jagjit Bedi, Team Leader, NIIT Limited, delivered guidance lecture for the aspirants. He gave them the roadmap to get jobs into banks and financial services sectors. He also gave the guidance for the aptitude test and interview to be conducted by the banks.More than hundred alumni and final year students from various fields participated in this event with full enthusiasm. Participants filled the application for Axis Bank and interview will be conducted tomorrow.  Principal Dr. Reena Talwar appreciated the regular efforts done by the placement cell of college. Principal mam always motivate the students of college to become self dependent . Placement cell of college also gives the career guidance to be self employed.
• 50 students of Post Graduate department of Commerce and Computer Science attended counselling camp organised by District Employment Centre Gurdaspur on 9th August 2022 at District Courts Gurdaspur. Dr Varun Kumar (PCS) told students about competitive exams and their preparation. students were told about various jobs in Banking and Railway sector by District employment and placement officer Gurdaspur.

• Placement cell organized a placement drive on 25th April.2022 under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar and placement cell coordinator Mrs. Deepak Jyoti. Mr. Deepak Kumar(Divisional Manager,SBI Life Insurance) along with the team came to the college campus. Around hundred students from final year classes of various streams participated in this placement drive. Dr. Reena Talwar welcomed the guests and appreciated the combine efforts done by the SBI Life insurance and Placement Cell. Mr. Deepak Kumar delivered a lecture on the whole recruitment process in SBI Life insurance. He also motivate the students to do hardwork to achieve their goal.The SBI team members Mr. Rahul(Agency Manager,SBI Life insurance) and Mr. Gaurav(Agency Manager,SBI Life insurance) registered the participants in Utkarsh scheme. Mrs. Deepak Jyoti gave a vote of thanks to the speaker. Dr. Reena Talwar presented a souvenir to Mr. Deepak Kumar as  a token of appreciation. The support of Mrs. Neha Saini,Mrs. Priyanka Gupta,Ms. Kirti and Ms. Sarita was appreciated for the successful completion of this event.
• Post Graduate Department of Computer Science and IT and Placement Cell organized a workshop on " Personality Development" under the able guidance of Principal Dr.Reena Talwar and HOD Mrs. Deepak Jyoti. Ms. Pallavi Nayyar(Project Manager) and Ms.Kamna Jaryal(Business Development Manager) from Rozgar Map, SPRN Entrepreneurs private limited company, were the eminent speakers of the two sessions of workshop. Mrs. Deepak Jyoti welcomed the guests.  In the first session , Ms. Pallavi Nayyar gave the training to the students of Final year in which she provided the guidance to the students regarding the challenges to reach towards employment and get success in their life.Ms. Pallavi also delivered a lecture on Cyber crime and security on social media. In the second session, Ms.Kamna Jaryal conducted a practical session of Advance Features of Gmail. At last , they conducted a quiz and students participated in the quiz with full enthusiasm. Dr.Reena Talwar motivated the department to conduct such workshops for the welfare of students. Mrs. Deepak Jyoti gave a vote of thanks to the both trainers. Success of workshop was not possible without the dedicated support of Mrs.Neha Saini , Mrs. Priyanka Gupta and Ms.Sarita.
•  Placement Cell of SDAM College Dinanagar organized Seminar on "Career Counselling" on 29th November,2021 under the able guidance of Principal Dr.Reena Talwar and placement cell coordinator Mrs. Deepak Jyoti. Ms. Palvi Nayyer, Project Manager and Ms. Kamna Jaryal, Business development Manager,Rozgar Map Gurdaspur ( Powered by SPRN Entrepreneurs Pvt. Limited) guided the students about the interviews skills and career awareness.More than 100 students from various streams attended this Seminar.
• PG Department of Computer Science & IT in collaboration with Placement Cell of SDAM College Dinanagar conducted TCS Recuritment in college campus on 19 november 2021 under the able guidance of Principal Dr.Reena Talwar and placement cell coordinator Mrs. Deepak Jyoti. Invigilator Mrs. Abhinash kaur and Ms. Kirti Gandotra.
  
• PG Department of Computer Science & IT in collaboration with Placement Cell of SDAM College Dinanagar conducted White Hat Recuritment (Backup coding and coding teacher)in college campus on under the able guidance of Principal Dr.Reena Talwar and placement cell coordinator Mrs. Deepak Jyoti. Invigilator Mrs. Abhinash kaur and Ms. Kirti Gandotra.
  
• PG Department of Computer Science & IT in collaboration with Placement Cell of SDAM College Dinanagar conducted Rubicoin’s “ Short Term Industry Ready Training Program for Graduates”in collaboration with one of the top technology companies DXC technology and nasscom Foundation in college campus on under the able guidance of Principal Dr.Reena Talwar and placement cell coordinator Mrs. Deepak Jyoti. Invigilator Mrs. Abhinash kaur and Ms. Kirti Gandotra. This process is still in continuance……

• Placement Cell of Shanti Devi Arya Mahila college Dinanagar organized " Placement Drive " under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Reena Talwar on 28th August,2021. College Managing Committee Secretary Mr. Dharam Indu Gupta and Principal Dr. Reena Talwar welcomed the recruiters by presenting them souvenirs. She also motivated the students to attend such events . College often organizes such events only for the benefits of students. Mr. Rajesh Tathoo and Mrs. Shewata vaid , recruiters from ICICI Bank, conducted this placement drive. In the beginning, Mr. Rajesh explained  the whole process of interview. Mrs. Shewata gave the guidance for interview. Then finally , written test conducted. Placement cell coordinator Mrs. Deepak Jyoti proposed vote of thanks and requested them to conduct such events in college campus . Mrs. Neha Saini , Mrs. Priyanka and Mrs. Rama were also present during this event.
• Science department in association with CLINI INDIA to organize Webinar on "Importance Of Profession ReadyTraining And Placement Program" on 31st May 2021.120 students participated in this program.
