05 Apr 2025 ↑ The PG Department of Fashion Designing, under the guidance of managing committee, Principal Dr. Sarla Nirankari and Mrs. Jyoti Saini, Head of PG Department of Fashion Designing organized an industrial visit for the students. The primary objective of the visit was to provide students with practical exposure to textile design and embroidery on 5th April 2025

The students were accompanied by Mrs. Vandhna and Ms. Rajwant Kaur during the visit. The students visited two prominent industries: Gauri Shankar Processor (P) LTD. was first stop, where students gained insights into textile processing and manufacturing and Shankar Embroidery (P) LTD.* was the  second stop, where students observed and learned about various embroidery techniques and applications. The industrial visit provided students with valuable hands-on experience and exposure to real-world textile design and embroidery practices. This experience is expected to enhance their skills and knowledge in the field of fashion designing. The department expresses its gratitude to Dr. Sarla Nirankari for her guidance and support in organizing the industrial visit. The department also thanks Mrs. Vandhna and Ms. Rajwant Kaur for accompanying the students during the visit.
